Rejoicing in the four gifts of Christ

At the end of the book of Deuteronomy, Moses prepared for the conquest of the Promised Land by appointing a new leader, composing a song, and ensuring the book of the law would be preserved and taught. He said the Lord would choose a house and set up a table where Israel would eat, drink, and rejoice.

A church’s life revolves around these four gifts of Jesus, the greater Moses: Leaders, a Book, a Song, and a Table. As the Spirit empowers these gifts, the church is equipped to carry out the mission of Jesus and take possession of the inheritance our Father has promised.
